True short story. One weekend not very long ago, I went out to buy a replacement for a household item that is way bigger than a breadbox and impossible for anyone smaller than a linebacker to carry.

While in the process of gathering information and arranging delivery, the salesperson asked me what I did for a living. Not a split second after I finished saying that I worked for the Meals On Wheels Association of America, the salesperson chimed in, “Meals On Wheels is awesome.”

As a grant specialist, senior resource librarian, and general all-purpose writer for MOWAA, I couldn’t put it better myself. Meals On Wheels is awesome, and I count myself one of the luckiest people in the world to do all that I can do for MOWAA Members.
