LIFE Eldercare, in Fremont, CA, is launching a new program, thanks to the funding from an East Bay Foundation on Aging grant.  Blood pressure cuffs will be distributed to seniors receiving Meals on Wheels, and will be taught how to use them, and warning signs to look for with high blood pressure.  Follow up visits will be made by student nurses from CA State East Bay University.  This is a great preventative measure to keep America’s seniors healthy and independent.
